Costume Purchases

Costumes are a luxury commodity in DN SEA. This means that costumes are expensive, and when you go around wearing one, people are gonna think you're rich IRL to spend much for some fancy pixels in-game. But that's not always the case, like me for example.

So, how does one acquire costumes? There are 3 ways to do this:

1. Buying them directly from Cash Shop using CC/DNP.
2. Buying them from the Trading House (TH).
3. Have someone gift them to you.

Of the three methods mentioned above, I only (and strictly) use #1. Why? It's because of the inherent nature of these costumes which I will explain.

Costumes are only allowed to be sold off at TH for 1 time only.

If you try searching for costumes at TH and compare their sellable property to the one I have equipped, you can see that costumes at TH cannot be traded anymore.

This means that if you purchase costumes at TH, you have no chance of re-selling them off again at TH if you plan to in the future. That's why I strictly buy costumes from Cash Shop only.

When buying costumes at Cash Shop, only permanent ones can be re-sold off at TH.

So when you buy these costumes, make sure you select the "Unlimited..." option in the duration selection drop-down box.

Last, these costumes also provide a slight increase to your desired stat--at most ~+100 per set. The stat selection pattern usually goes like:

STR+##, AGI+##, INT+##, Vit+##

I have written it down here because some players confuse it to be the other way around--+## STAT. This can lead to purchasing mistakes that is not refundable through any complaints at customer support.

So, have fun dressing up your characters with some fancy luxurious costumes.
